On June 15, the city of Gatineau will host the British GP criterium in the streets of Aylmer. In total there will be 9 races featuring cyclists of all levels. A cycling event not to be missed.

Sports Cyclistes Outaouais, in partnership with Hotel British, is proud to present the British Grand Prix.

The day will see athletes tackle the demanding 1.4 km circuit in the heart of Aylmer, with the iconic finish in front of the British Hotel. Races for different categories of men and women will take place throughout the day. The U9, U11, U13, U15, U17, U19masters and seniors categories are invited to take part.

The British GP is proud to present for its 2024 edition the relay challenge. The goal of this initiative is to bring together the entrepreneurial community of the Gatineau/Ottawa region and have fun together.

Join us in ensuring a safe and successful bike racing event! As a volunteer during the British GP, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring the safety of all participants and spectators. As Road Safety Marshall, you diligently monitor the course for any hazard and oversee traffic control at key locations along the course. In case of emergency, you serve as the first point of contact and notify the designated responders for prompt assistance. Interested in volunteering? Fill in the admission form now! The course

The course will start and finish in front of the British Hotel, where there will also be outdoor dining and beverages served by the restaurant. The course is a 1.4 km circuit with 4 corners, each lap has 16m elevation gain featuring a long uphill drag to the finish Riders will be challenged by the difficult circuit that makes for dynamic racing that could play into the favour of a breakaway while still giving the sprinters a chance in the final.

Come join the fun and enter your four person team into the 2024 Relay Challenge held during the British Grand Prix criterium. Bring out your friends, colleagues or family and enjoy a day of teamwork, laughter and friendly competition.

Prizes will be awarded to the top three teams, as well as for the team with the best name and best costume. After the race, teams are invited to stay on site in our VIP area and watch the elite race.

– Four individuals per team

– Le Mans-style start: Bikes are placed on the ground at the starting line, and the first person must run 50 meters to retrieve the bike and complete one lap.

– Each cyclist must complete 2 laps, one at a time. For a total of 8 exchanges.

$1200 per team, includes:

– Entry to race

– Drinks and snacks/buffet

– VIP bagde, seating and T-Shirt
